Go "Around the World" with These Art Basel Bites

My my my Feasters, is it that time of year already? The time when everyone who’s anyone travels far and wide to take part in, dare we say, Miami’s most notorious weekend, a weekend brimming with scandalous parties, showstopping artwork, and buzzworthy bites. 

That’s right, we’re talking Art Basel. And this year, Julia & Henry’s is shaking things up with a lineup of activations so good, you might find yourself contemplating never leaving the premises – or, at the very least, feeling a pang of reluctance when you do.

Inspired by the international air, Julia & Henry’s is kicking off the weekend with an epicurean expedition “Around the World.” From 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wed., Dec. 6, J&H will be issuing exclusive passports designed by Latin Grammy Award-winning designer Pedro Fajardo, which will act as all-inclusive tickets to explore all 25 of Julia & Henry's culinary concepts. At each stop, you won’t just collect one of the vendor’s bestselling items, but you’ll also be accumulating personalized stamps that will fill the pages of the passport and transform it into a cherished memento to have and to hold forever. And for those eager to up the ante, there’s a whole ‘nother tier available for an additional $30 that includes a specialty beverage from each of J&H’s’ three bars.  

Aside from the indulgence of culinary curiosities, renowned D.J. Barbi Kolm will be adding an extra layer of vibrancy to the evening by seamlessly weaving a live painting performance into her D.J. set.  

And if you find yourself wanting to explore your own artistic talents, we hear floors two and three will feature two massive canvases, inviting all to participate in a collective painting experience. 

As for the rest of the weekend…

Expect live performances from stars like Jorge Franco and Velaviee, a live shoe customization show, all-day arts and crafts and special sips that are sure to have you swooning.
