Día de los Muertos at Tacotomia

What is “Día de los Muertos?” It’s a holiday traditionally celebrated by Mexicans worldwide, in which the spirits of the dead are believed to return and spend time with the loved ones they left behind.

Families commemorate the day by building ofrendas” (altars) that are personalized with pictures, foods, flowers, and other decorations reminiscent of their deceased loved one.

Join us at the corner of Tacotomia (2nd floor) from October 30th to November 2nd, for a heartfelt Día de los Muertos celebration hosted by Chef Karla Hoyos. Experience the beauty of the altar, adorned with marigold flowers and flickering candles, symbolizing the love we hold for our departed loved ones.

We invite you to contribute by bringing pictures of your dearly departed. Our team will be on hand with a Kodak picture printer to assist in printing digital images, ensuring your loved ones become a cherished part of J&H's altar.

Let's come together in this meaningful tradition, honoring the spirit of Día de los Muertos and the enduring connection we share with those who live on in our hearts!
